Mom's Project

Well it appears my mother is making a blog too. So I took some photographs for her tonight, and I just have to share a few of them to you guys. She made a German themed dinner with spätzle and schnitzel. So here are a couple photos I took.

- Spätzle

- This was the Schnitzel

- The whole meal.. with some German wine of course.

This meal was absolutely delicious! Check out her blog (which I'll link to later) and you'll be able to get the recipes. Yum!

Double Sunday

Well since it is Double Sunday! I suppose I should post another photo! Enjoy this one, everyone.

Just an experimental photo of some trees. I used the blur of my camera and overexposure to create this.

Black Cats

This is Moma! I believe she spotted a bird, or a very small rodent of some sort.

The Lights Go Down..

..In the city! (Journey song..) I'm sorry for the late photo, but I had to take it away from my house, at my Granny's. Enjoy!

I really enjoy the line up of the lights, and it was just a perfect shot I could not resist.

Night Photo!

A special photo for today! (Three in one day.. What's going on?!) I took this right after I posted my other photos and I decided it was worthy. Enjoy!

Zoey!

This is one of our dogs, Zoey. She has the most inquisitive looks sometimes..

Double Sunday!

Well today is, once again, double photo day! So I'm here to post two photos. But this time, I'm doing it in two posts, one now, and one tonight. Enjoy this one!

I've been creating a few still-lifes today, and this one was my favorite. I had a low film speed on, and a small aperture (letting less light in) creating a dark and dim photo.

Saving up!

Hey folks! I just wanted to make a post showing the camera I am attempting to save up to get. The Canon Rebel Xsi.

This camera will greatly improve the quality of my photos, and will vastly improve shooting abilities under many circumstances. Thanks for all the support guys!

The camera I currently own is the Panasonic Lumix FZ10, which is a quite old camera, but great!

One Only

This is a sign-post right in town, making sure there's only one way to go!

The Outbuilding

This is an old 19th century shed. It is used as a tool shed in the backcountry. I believe this black-and-white photo shows the age of this scenery.

Thanks!

Thanks everyone for all your support! It means a lot to me. So here's a little funny photo of my brother Charles Claus! (Of course there will be a photo of the day later, so stay tuned.)

Family History

This is a family quilt of ours, with beatiful handstitched colors. There is also a tale behind it of my grandmother yelling at my mother to not sit on it, because she'll break the stitches.. But that's a different story!

Double Sunday!

Yes, today is Sunday (except in assorted parts of the world, in which it is Monday!). I have decided that today (and all the other sundays) shall be double photo-post day. Woooo!

And...

Our putty-cat, Curious. She is looking rather curiously into the lens.

A New Beginning

Hey Folks!

The plan of this blog is for me to post a new photo everyday for 365 days (1 year, except in the instance of a leap year which it'd be.. anyway, I digress). I'll take a number of photos everyday with my SLR camera and upload my favorite! Although I'm always open to suggestions.

Have fun and enjoy!,
Theo
